BIG BOY HAIR CUT

We finally did it! Karson got his new 'Big Boy' hair cut this past weekend. He looks so adorable (but then again, I'm his mother too). He now has a more 'mature' look to go with his new age--2. Yup, Karson will turn two this Thursday, June 12th. I can't believe how fast time flies. Every night, either Bryce or I will rock Karson in his rocking chair right before bed time and sing him songs. This has been a tradition since he was a newborn and continues til this day. He absolutely loves it--plus it gives each of us a little one on one time. I remember after he was just born, I could hold the tiny little bundle just in one hand...and now, when we rock him to sleep, he takes up all my lap and chest and pretty much extends all over. I can't believe how big he has grown and how much he has developed (physically and intellectually). Like all grandparents say, enjoy them while they're young!

Also, last Friday I was able to finally get my car back from the shop. For those of you who didn't know, Karson and I were in a car accident about a month ago. We were waiting to turn into our subdivision and were slammed from behind. Nobody was injured, but I can't say the same for both cars. Mine was in the shop for a week and looks like new now! Meanwhile, I got to enjoy a rental car and save on some gas. I had the option of upgrading to a PT Cruiser for free, but considering I hate those cars with a deep dying passion, I passed up the offer and settled for my Cobalt with no power windows or locks. It sure did make me appreciate my power locks--especially with a toddler.
