I was tagged by my friend, Jessi, to do this fun little game. I thought I would try it and give some insight into myself.
*List 6 unimportant things about yourself...
1. I am OCD. Anyone who knows me well, can attest to this. Everything has its place. I constantly clean because I can not stand anything to be dirty. I am very detail oriented and I hate looking at messes. When I come home from work, if stuff is out of place, my anxiety level shoots up and I start having panic attacks. I jump into 'clean mode' and start organizing. I must admit that there is not an ounce of clutter in my home. If we don't use it, then I trash it (even without Bryce knowing sometimes).
2. Since Bryce and I have been married (which was 5 years in May), we have moved 8 times (which is why our house is clutter-free). We lived in 4 diffferent apartments in Provo, Utah-- each time was to save money. We lived with my parents for a couple of months in Las Vegas until we found our own place to live. And we lived in an apartment in Oklahoma until our house was finishing being built a few months later. I must say, I HATE MOVING! We are really hoping that we don't have to move again when Bryce graduates next May. I am tired of uprooting all the time and having to make new friends all over again.
3. I don't have a medical note from a doctor, but I swear I have 'Restless Leg Syndrome.' There is a commercial for it on TV and I experience all the symtpoms they mention. At least 3 nights a week, I have a hard time sleeping because I constantly have to turn my legs because they go numb. I usually wake up at least once every hour and have to shift my body. It is really aggrevating! I should take pills or something for it, but I just haven't found the time or money to go to the doctor.
4. When Bryce and I started dating, we knew we were meant for each other from the beginning. Of course, being the girl I am, I was not going to say "I love you" first. I was going to wait until Bryce said it and then I would return the gesture. Well, months went by without him saying anything. Finally, one night, he did say it. I was ecstatic! The rest is history from there. After we got married, Bryce let me in on a little hidden confession. What I didn't realize was he had said, "I love you" one night when we were in the car, but I guess I didn't hear him, so I didn't say it back. He thought I didn't feel the same way as him, so that is why it took him another couple of months to say it again. The things you find out after you get married!
5. Most women get the luxury of only having to push for 20-45 minutes when they have their babies. Lucky me got to push for 2 and a half hours with Karson. Yes, that was after having waited to be fully dilated and having nothing to eat for 10 hours! Talk about wanting to pass out and faint. Karson's head was stuck and it took all my strength to push that boy out. At every doctor's appointment, Karson's head circumference is always between the 85 and 95 percentile. That's my smart boy!
6. I used to hula. Yes, the hawaiian dancing. I did it for 3 years in Las Vegas. We had alot of Hawaiians in our ward and we had a Luau once a year. I loved it. I even wore what they call a 'moo-moo' (that's probably not how you spell it). I can still remember some of the dance moves and I would love to do it again!
